EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Good news! At Clarico, we’re committed to giving our students hands-on experience without added costs. All learners are invited to use our in-house equipment throughout their training. Access to this professional-grade equipment is included in your tuition fees, ensuring you can practice confidently and build your skills from day one. This also means you won’t be out of pocket for equipment upfront, and there’s no pressure to decide what to invest in for your long-term career before you’ve had the chance to explore and work with a variety of tools. If you’ve already chosen an epilator machine and would like to use it during your training, we’ll support you in becoming fully proficient with it before you graduate.
Our In-House Equipment
Epilator Machines:
Hinkel ElectroBlend UC3 and UC3+
Apilus Senior 3G
Instantronics Elite Spectrum
Instantronics SS-99
Visual Aids:
Alltion Surgical Microscope
Zeiss Surgical Microscopes (x 3)
Seiler Surgical Microscope
Student Beginner Loupes (3.5x magnification)
Fluorescent Magnifying Lamp (5x magnification)
* A Note About Visual Aids
Clear, precise visibility is essential for developing strong electrolysis skills, which is why we encourage all students to begin their training with a reliable visual aid. We offer several options for use during training, including surgical microscopes, beginner Amazon loupes, and a fluorescent light magnification lamp.
Professional loupes are the most common long-term choice for electrologists; however, they must be custom fitted and typically require 4–6 weeks for production. A professional loupe representative visits us during the first week of training, but if you’d like to get ahead, we’re happy to connect you with our rep before your practical training begins. Just let us know.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PROGRAM COMPLETION
To be eligible for graduation from the 450-hour program, students must meet the following requirements:
Achieve a minimum score of 75% on all theory quizzes and examinations
Complete at least 200 hours of in-clinic practical training
Successfully pass both the written final exam and the practical final assessment
Maintain consistent, professional attendance throughout the program
